Winter 2025
Jesus instructed His disciples to go into the world and make disciples of all nations. If we’re a follower of Jesus then we have two calls: 1) to be made into a more mature disciple of Jesus; and 2) to help make others into more mature disciples of Jesus. How that gets done may look different from church to church and decade to decade. At Parkside, we’ve created courses, retreats, practicums, and many other spaces to accomplish Jesus’ mission. Christmas at Parkside
Join us this Christmas season for a number of special events! Advent Sundays Join us on November 30, December 7, 14, and 21 for our Advent series as we count down the days to Christmas. These services include lighting a candle on the advent wreath, singing a carol, hearing a testimony and a message on the light of Christ. Kids Christmas Presentation Join us in our 10am service on December 14th as our kids will present a few special Christmas numbers. Candlelight Christmas Eve Services Join us at 4:30pm for a short Christmas Eve service filled with carols, Scripture reading, candle lighting, a short message, and a closing congregational candle-lit song. Thriftmas
Doors open at 9:00am on Saturday, November 8 (until 3pm): Parkside Church 33837 Prentis Ave. Mission, BC A pop-up thriftmas sale PLUS local vendors! Proceeds will go towards the high school graduation mission trip (serving at the Dream Center in LA in March 2026). DONATIONS: We are receiving donated items on Friday, November 7th between 6:00-8:00pm. Not all items will be accepted as we will be looking for quality over quantity. Olivia recently had an encounter with God and heard His call to believe in Jesus and be baptized. Be praying for Olivia as she heads to college this week on Vancouver Island.
Costa Rica Intern
Costa Rica Bound Sophia Neumann has been accepted as a Canadian Foursquare Missions Intern! SEPTEMBER 2025 - JUNE 2026 Sophia has answered God’s call to serve in Costa Rica, stepping into an internship that will support our full-time missionaries in Costa Rica, help expand ministry opportunities there, and shape them as future leaders. Sophia has a passion for children’s ministry, hospitality, and building meaningful relationships. With leadership experience at YoungLife camp and two years of Bible college training, she is well-prepared for hands-on ministry. Her strengths include administration, hospitality, music, and serving others with joy. Sophia has a big heart for the broken and marginalized, and she is eager to learn Spanish, practice her love of cooking (Costa Rica style) and grow through this missions internship.
