Text: 1 John 2:18-27 Date: February 2, 2020 Speaker: Clint Nelson There are forces within and without the church that seek to loosen our grip on the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Faith is the activity of holding on to the promises of Jesus passed down to us and of listening to the Holy Spirit within us.

FROM HOPE CENTRAL: New Pilot Program in the Works! In partnership with Mission Community Services, and other providers who serve our homeless population, Hope Central will be offering a new service by providing showers, grooming and an opportunity to have clean clothes. By providing this “hand up” service we will be helping our community struggling with homelessness to find dignity and hope, and remove some of the obstacles that get in the way of them applying for jobs, housing assistance and even medical care. Early November is when we would like to start offering this service. Haven in the Hollow (Mission’s Emergency Shelter) will be providing the space and Hope Central will be providing supplies and volunteers.
